
A native Texan, Jade was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She is a former Miss Texas International. During her reign in 2009, she traveled over 7,000 miles across the state of Texas. This was on behalf of the International Pageant and her personal platform of “Preventing Youth Crimes”. She helped to raise over $200,000 for after-school and youth mentoring programs; with The Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Big Brothers & Big Sisters.
Not only is Jade dedicated to community leadership, but she has also followed her dream of becoming a respected apparel designer. Jade attended the Art Institute of California- San Francisco, where she was a member of the Alpha Beta Kappa Honor Society and received her BFA in Fashion Design.
She was previously honored by President George W. Bush with the Presidential Volunteer Service Award for her commitment to the community by volunteering over 300 hours in 2007. Giving back to the community is a huge part of her life; which is why she lives by the words
of Mahatma Gandhi, “Be the change that you want to see in the world”.Jade currently resides in Los Angeles, California. In her spare time she enjoys Modern and Contemporary Art, traveling, cooking Asian food, her dogs (a mini schnauzer and a Boston terrier), and spending time with family and friends. Jade aspires to continue to pursue a career in the fashion industry, earn her Master’s degree, and develop a non-profit organization to prevent youth crimes.
